Adirondack Wild Attractions

Foliage, Food and History

Spend a day at the Adirondack Museum with its campus of historic buildings and exhibits, tour Raquette Lake while dining elegantly or visit the log palace of the Vanderbilts, Great Camp Sagamore. Hamilton County is the center of natural and social history in the region, with plenty of featured attractions.

Scenic drives are probably the area's most popular attraction, particularly during the foliage season when the mountainsides are brilliantly colored and the lakes reflect red, orange and yellow. And after a busy day, there is nothing better than the friendly surroundings found while dining in the Adirondacks.
