Inlet Area Business Association - Featured Business
Each month the Inlet Area Business Association will share information with you about one of their paid members.
September 2017's business is:
Screamen Eagle Pizza / Matt's Draft House
Screamen Eagle is located on the corner of Route 28 and South Shore Road in the heart of Inlet, with the channel between Fourth and Fifth Lakes flowing behind it. They are a family owned and operated business offering pizza, wings, subs, salad, pasta and fried food. They served beer and wine and have a selection of 50 beers on tap. Yes, I said 50 beers on tap!
The Miller family has owned and operated Screamen Eagle for 25 years; starting out in Eagle Bay, then moving downtown into what used to be the Mountaineer before finally landing at their current location about 20 years ago.
Screamen Eagle is open year-round. During Adirondack Christmas on Main Street they have a Wine and Cheese Tasting and Pictures with Santa. They have a Wii Bowling League in the off season and during Frozen Fire & Lights they do a Wine and Chocolate Tasting. They have hosted several Tap Takeovers, hold an annual Pizza Eating Contest and are host to the annual Adult Egg Hunt.
The Millers pride themselves at "catering to all ages and being ever-changing for the Milenials." They have a nice selection of bottled beers, hard ciders, champagne and a good selection of white and red wines. I mentioned the 50 beers on tap, they also have 6 wines on tap and all are displayed on 3 different screens around the building. THey have recently added some new menu items, icluding Maple Honey Siracha wings, Buffalo Chicken Nacho Platter and a Magherita pizza. You can also order your food online!
When asked why they love being a part of the community, they replied, "We (the community) all work together towards a common goal regardless of what business you are in."
