Water Fall Challenge
Hamilton County is home to a large number of spectacular waterfalls, many that are only a stones throw from you car! This list is a select sampling , not a comprehensive list of Water Falls in the county. For more detailed trail descriptions and maps, please consider buying one of the many fine waterfall field guides available in our local stores & outfitters.
If you would like to participate in the Hamilton County Water Fall Challenge, call our office at 518 548-3076 (or 800-648-5239). We'll then send you the Water Fall challenge brochure.
To complete the challenge and receive the full color patch (seen above), you must visit a number of the water falls listed in the brochure.When you have been to a particular water fall, please fill in the date and time and a sentence or two about your journey. Total the points for your trips, based on the degree of difficulty associated with each hike.
When you have a total of 12 points or more, mail your pamphlet (or a copy) back to us and we'll send you a commemorative Hamilton County waterfall patch as a token of your accomplishment.
