Adirondack Guide

Licensed guides and float plane services can ensure a satifying, safe Adirondack experience. Hamilton County has two float plane services that can drop you and your gear into remote areas and pick you up on a date that you specify.

Consider hiring a licensed guide to teach you about flora and fauna or map and compass skills, or to set up your backcountry camp. Of course they provide hunting and fishing services as well. Many have special expertise. Some rent equipment.

Licensed guides must pass a New York State qualifying exam and have water safety and first aid certifications.
