This relatively easy walk passes through several fields, a wetland/marsh area and mixed hardwoods, ending beneath stands of mature spruce interspersed with renowned old growth White Pines. The trail is an approximately 3 miles round trip. A variety of bird species may be seen along the hike, including many Woodland Warblers. Hermit and Wood Thrushes, Ovenbirds, White-throated Sparrows and Red-eyed Vireos. Note: This trip begins with a short walk over private property.
