Lake Lila is not really a pond, but it is in the backcountry where motors are not allowed. First-rate opportunities for small mouth bass and lake trout are found here. This popular primitive canoeing and camping area sees little fishing pressure. There is deep water west of Buck and Spruce Islands favored by lake trout. Any rocky area, including the bay at the lake's northeast end, is friendly to smallies. BYOC (Bring Your Own Canoe)
