Sacandaga Lake

Sacandaga Lake (not to be confused with Great Sacandaga Lake) and Lake Pleasant are connected by a channel.  There are good populations of brown and rainbow trout in both waters, thanks to liberal stocking.  Because of a stable food supply, the trout grow big in these waters. There are large numbers of small mouth bass, and pickerel can be found in weedy areas. Walleye fishing is good early in the season.
