Speculator
Christine Falls is easily assessable from Rte 30 just E of Speculator. The falls are located slightly downstream from the power generation dam on the Sacandaga River. There are 2 small waterfalls, dropping approximately 20 feet to a wonderful local swimming hole.
Directions
Three miles E of Speculator: From the intersection of Rte 30 & Rte 8 in Speculator, drive south on Rte 30 for 3.1 miles, passing Old Rte 30 on your left. Continue on another 0.3 miles around a short bend in the road and look for the parking area for the falls on the left side of the road.
