This relatively flat trail thru a wilderness area, ends at a leanto sitting on the shore of Johns Pond.

 

Directions

From Indian Lake, take Rte 30 south for 0.6 miles.Turn left at Big Brook Rd and drive 3.3 miles to Starbuck Road.Turn left at Starbuck Rd and continue on Lake View Dr. When you come to a T, turn R and drive 0.2 miles to the end. Continue a bit more on a narrow dirt road to the trailhead parking lot.
