At this time, the snowmobile trails countywide are rideable, but generally in poor condition.
Inlet reports icy and poor conditions, best place to ride are in the Moose River Plains. Long Lake has not officially opened their trail system, though folks are riding. Indian Lake reports rideable trails, with poor and icy conditions. Speculator trails are rideable, but lack safe connections via the lakes.
All areas are in need of snow, and have not received enough to make riding the way we are used to! Thursday evening will bring some snow showers, but we hope that the dusting predicted will turn into more than that.
Conditions this weekend will be clear and brisk.
Although trails are becoming rideable, we need much more snow accumulation to make the trails rideable and safe. We'll let you know right here.
