Snowmobile Trail Conditions
Your Snowmobile Trail Condition Information Source for New York's Hamilton County
Wednesday, April 9, 2014 - SPRING IS HERE
CURRENT WEATHER: The temps are warm and getting warmer. There are no snow storms/systems of note on the horizon.
TRAIL CONDITIONS: The woods still have a bit of snow, especially in the Lake Pleasant/Speculator/Piseco area, but the trails are degrading. Grooming has stopped thoroughout the county, but I'm sure we didn't have to tell you that! The trail reports from riders and reporting agencies have come to an end, except here, and this may be the last of the season.
"Die Hard" riders may talk about riding the Moose River Plains, Perkins Clearing or Powley Road but that kind of talk is dying out at this point. For most areas in the county, it's time to put the sleds away!
