There is an unpaved launch in Speculator on the northern end of Lake Pleasant near the Sacandaga River Outlet. Boat launch limited to canoes, kayaks, and small motor boats on trailers.
Getting there
It is on Route 30 just before entering Speculator from the south, opposite the shores of Lake Pleasant. You can launch and then paddle on the Outlet to the main body of water.
Boat launch
This launch is unpaved and not suitable for larger boats. It is better used as a hand launch for canoes or kayaks.
Lake Pleasant has the following invasive species present in the waterbody:
