Great family campground with tent and trailer sites, picnic tables, fireplaces, flush toilets, hot showers, a trailer dump station, recycling center, sand beach, and a bathhouse.

Recreational opportunities: Boating (smaller boats recommended due to lake's shallow depth), fishing, bicycling.

Canoe and kayak rentals available.

Fishing: Tiger muskey, smallmouth bass, sunfish, yellow perch, white sucker, brown trout, and brown bullheads.

Hiking: Located on the Northville-Placid Trail; wilderness trails accessible directly from campground.

Nearby cultural institutions: Adirondack Experience, Museum on Blue Mountain Lake; Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts in Blue Mountain Lake; The Wild Center in Tupper Lake; and Adirondack Public Observatory in Tupper Lake
