Lake Pleasant Library Presents: Legends of Sacandaga Lake & The 3 Hotels

A History Behind the Sacandaga Legend by Town of Lake Pleasant Historian, Aaron Weaver, and The History of Three Hotels by Hamilton County Historian, Ernie Virgil.
Mr. Weaver will share about the history behind the Haudenosaunee tail of the Lake Sacandaga Legend of the Flying Head. He will talk about what the legend was, where the legend was located, and who the storytellers were and the characters in the legend.
Mr. Virgil will tell about three hotels built at the same location and their history.
