Directions:
From the intersection of Route 28 and Route 30 in the hamlet of Indian Lake, follow Route 28 south and continue for 1.4 miles to a parking area on the right, just past the lake.
Or follow Route 30 toward Speculator for a half mile and turn left onto Big Brook Road. Continue for 1.3 miles to the lake.
Shoreline Fishing:
Decent from the roadways, but most of the shore in these areas is private property. Always be sure to respect the rights of landowners.
Boat Access:
This is a canoe or kayak launch only.
Insider Information:
- The best luck on this scenic lake is to fish deep and troll from your boat.
- Musky are a tough catch, but they do inhabit this lake.
- There are decent sized pike here.
- Use the shore off of Big Brook Road for the best bass fishing opportunities without a boat.
