From the intersection of Route 8 and Route 10 in Piseco, follow Route 10 toward Pine Lake. Continue for a little over 8 miles to the trailhead on the right.
This trail is quite an attractive piece of work. Following the outlet of the lake, the path passes cascading water and a decent-sized waterfall along the way.
The trail moderately climbs to the east end of the lake to look down the long narrow bay that is located there. Cross the outlet on a downed log and relax on the open rocks.
Round Trip Distance
Most hikers can complete this trek in less than 3 hours.
This lake supports brook trout, but the use or possession of bait fish is prohibited.
Three primitive camping sites along the trail. Look for the yellow Camp Here disk.
