Summer in the heart of the Adirondacks is a time to get outdoors and enjoy all the region has to offer. Events abound during this time, beginning in May and continuing well on into the late summer and fall.
Don't Miss In May
In May it's all about boating and yard sales. Inlet features The "Otter" Paddlesports Event on the weekend of May 15 - 17. Come down to The Woods Inn waterfront and test paddle new boats and equipment on beautiful Fourth Lake. For 'treasure' hunters, Labor Day weekend's Great Adirondack Garage Sale features 70 miles of sales from Old Forge to Long Lake. If you're a tag sale shopper, you won't want to miss this annual event!
Boats, Bikes & Birds in June
In June there's more boating in Inlet, with the power boat show June 6 and 7. Come find your new ski boat! Birds take center stage as the 3 day Adirondack Boreal Birding Festival kicks off on June 12, overlapping with the annual Black Fly Challenge Mountain Bike race the same weekend.
