Arts Center hours:
- Spring (April to mid-June): Wednesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Summer (late June to Labor Day): Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Fall (after Labor Day to December 20): Wednesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Winter (December to March 31): Closed
The Adirondack Center for the Arts (Arts Center) is a multi-disciplinary arts center serving year-round and seasonal residents of the beautiful Adirondack Lakes region in the Central Adirondacks. It exists to promote visual and performing arts through performances, workshops, exhibits, and educational programs of general interest.
The Arts Center is located in Blue Mountain Lake, a small mountain community in the heart of the Adirondack Park, the largest state forest preserve in the continental U. S. The Center's annual schedule includes diverse performances and workshops for people of all ages and exhibits in all media by established and emerging artists from around the nation. Changing exhibitions throughout the year depict the works of more than 10 artisans in a variety of mediums.The concert series ranges from a cappella jazz and classical to Appalachian folk and Canadian roots music.
The Arts Center's gift shop includes various one-of-a-kind works of local Adirondack artisans, including artwork, pottery, rustic birch bark frames, handcrafted gourds, fused glass, jewelry, Adirondack postcards - both new and antique — local maple syrup, and more.
