Take a walk beneath towering old growth pines and mature spruce trees on this leisurely trail. A mix of fields, wetlands, marshes, and hardwoods keeps the scenery changing every step of the way.
Note: This trip begins with a short walk over private property. You will walk in front of a camp on a dirt road, so please be respectful of this landowner.
Access is off Pumpkin Hollow Road in Wells, NY.

This relatively easy walk passes through several fields, a wetland/marsh area, and mixed hardwoods, ending beneath stands of mature spruce interspersed with renowned old growth White Pines.
A variety of bird species may be seen along the hike, including many Woodland Warblers. Hermit and Wood Thrushes, Ovenbirds, White-throated Sparrows, and Red-eyed Vireos.
