Our fall celebrations are like no other, come see for yourself!

Great Adirondack Moose Festival

  • When: September 22 - 24

You are almost guaranteed to catch a glimpse of the elusive Adirondack moose this fall at the Great Adirondack Moose Festival, sponsored by the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce! It's rumored that Bruce the Moose, Monty the Moose, and even Smokey Bear will be attending this year's celebration. Make your way over to Indian Lake and join in on the fun – this is a weekend packed with events and entertainment you won't want to miss! Festivities include popular events from years past, plus some new excitement to level up the celebrations. You'll find everything from a moose calling contest to guided trail hikes at this family-friendly, moose-themed festival. There's a turkey trap shoot, an antique and classic car show, whitewater rafting, and so much more! Also, check out the Great Adirondack Moose Festival on Facebook for photos of wild moose spotted throughout the area!
